The problem

Over the years cities many have invested in automated irrigation systems, but these typically have set schedules that are independent of the actual conditions of the soil and the types of plants in an area. In addition, it is quite common for these systems to suffer technical issues that can lead to significant problems such as water leaks, broken sprinklers, etc. that can’t be detected automatically. Finally, the need to promote water conservation and manage public budget constraint also makes it imperative to efficiently irrigate public spaces.

The solution is based on the irrigation control hardware as well as a cloud-platform to intelligently manage the different locations, schedules and alarms.
